In addition, Unocal conducts investigations of actual or alleged incidents and technical inspections of both onshore and offshore facilities. Unocal's internal security team, many of whom have government as well as private sector experience, undergo special training. They also attend regional workshops on security procedures and new developments pertaining to multinational operations. The company has issued an international travel security video, as well as brochures, security reports, and statistical profiles. Unocal participates in a number of workshops and discussions and maintains close contact with the U.S. Department of State's Overseas Security Advisory Council, other international experts and security membership organizations. We continue to work with appropriate external agencies to further refine our program and address our responsibilities in difficult regions.
