Petro-Canada has partnered with Destination Conservation to sponsor the delivery of this conservation initiative in British Columbia, Alberta and Quebec. Destination Conservation is a practical, student-driven, activity-based program bringing conservation alive within schools from kindergarten to Grade 12.
A co-operative team of students, teachers, principals, custodians and parents form a team with Destination Conservation representatives to help schools save energy, conserve water and reduce waste. Further data on this project can be found on their website: www.dcplanet.ca.
As well, Petro-Canada expanded its longtime partnership with the Youth Science Fair, by sponsoring a new Earth and Environmental Sciences category.
