Anadarko applies generally accepted scientific principles to all of its operational activities - geological, geophysical, in engineering and production, and environmental. In 2003, Anadarko formed a Climate Change Committee to organize, evaluate and advise on climate change and greenhouse gas issues. More recently, the company approved a Greenhouse Gas Management Plan, recommended by the Climate Change Committee, which addresses the management of emissions of CO2 and CH4 on all of Anadarko's worldwide operating locations.
