Upon completion of this online course, the learner will demonstrate knowledge of different flammable and combustible liquid hazards and how to minimize or eliminate those hazards. Trainees will learn how to identify flammable and combustible liquid hazards with Material Safety Data Sheets and labeling, and how to select hazard prevention measures. This course is intended to help meet OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.106. Workplace specific information will need to be added. Related information is provided in the following courses: Hazard Communication, Material Safety Data Sheets, Chemical Safety, Fire Safety and Using Portable Fire Extinguishers.
Objectives:
