Washington, March 21, 2011 – More than 6 in 10 Arkansas voters oppose higher taxes on America’s oil and natural gas industry, according to a new poll released today. The telephone poll of 600 Arkansas registered voters found that 66 percent oppose an increase, including 50 percent who strongly oppose. Only 21 percent support increasing taxes.

Washington, March 21, 2011 – Almost 6 in 10 Florida voters oppose higher taxes on America’s oil and natural gas industry, according to a new poll released today. The telephone poll of 600 Florida registered voters found that 59 percent oppose an increase, including 43 percent who strongly oppose. Only 34 percent support increasing taxes.

The telephone poll of 600 Michigan registered voters found that 63 percent oppose an increase, including 45 percent who strongly oppose. Only 27 percent support increasing taxes.

The telephone poll of 600 Minnesota registered voters found that 53 percent oppose an increase, including 37 percent who strongly oppose. Only 36 percent support increasing taxes.
