Diversity Advisory Council (DAC)
Cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace is a top priority – making us a stronger, more resilient, and valued association that advances our members' priorities, ideals and API's principles. (From API’s DE&I goals document)
The DAC is a team of API employee volunteers who work with API leadership in support of strengthening API’s culture of mutual respect and belonging for all employees and to foster a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.
We believe that making a difference in the communities in which we live and work is more than just being a good neighbor.
Enhancing community engagement while creating opportunities for staff camaraderie is the mission of TeamAPI. This includes active engagement with local charities and organizations, planning employee social events, and the promotion of fitness and healthy living.
From charitable contributions to reading to elementary school children during lunch breaks, to blood drives, supporting our troops, to clothing/school supplies/toy drives, API staff members are committed to getting involved and making a difference.
