Team API is a group of dedicated volunteer employees whose mission is to enhance community and camaraderie amongst the API workforce through active engagement with area charities, the organization of employee social events, and the promotion of fitness and healthy living.
From charitable contributions to reading to elementary school children during lunch breaks, API staff members are committed to getting involved and making a difference. Since 2011, API employees have contributed $295,000 to charities through Fueling our Community, API’s annual fundraising campaign, and other charity-focused events such as sponsored races, clothing donations, school supply and toy drives, Jeans Day and happy hour participation, and dinner receptions.
Team API organizes social events including API’s annual summer picnic and holiday party, and sponsors seasonal sports teams that run throughout the year, including kickball, bowling, soccer and others. Other activities such as wellness programs and walking challenges engage API staff and encourage a healthy lifestyle. All of these efforts foster camaraderie amongst API staff and grow and strengthen API’s community and culture.
