Choose Energy Interview: Our Energy 'Crossroads'

In the interview clip below, Paula Jackson of the American Association of Blacks in Energy talks about the importance of the United States making the right choices on energy policy:
Too often we in America take for granted the freedoms that spring from access to home-grown, reliable energy. As Jackson mentioned, these include health and general well-being – the availability of care and access to modern technologies and products made from petroleum. In large part well-being is boosted by mobility – the physical mobility made possible by fuels for vehicles and transportation systems, as well as the social mobility that is increased by good paying jobs in the energy sector or supported sectors.
America is energy rich, but it must choose to use its energy wealth in ways that benefit its citizens. This means right policy choices to safely and responsibly develop domestic oil and natural gas. API President and CEO Jack Gerard spoke on the point earlier this month at our State of American Energy event:
