Upstream program staff are revising the program to take place over the two-week period. An updated program will be available soon.

Event Update

Due to the continuing circumstances caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and after much thoughtful deliberation and evaluation of the evolving situation, we regret to advise that we decided to move the 2022 Exploration & Production Winter Meeting and the 2022 API/AGA Joint Committee on Oil and Gas Pipeline Welding Committee Meeting to a fully virtual format. These virtual meetings will be held over a two-week period, January 24-28, 2022, and January 31-February 4, 2022.

We appreciate that this international public health situation is one that is out of everyone’s control. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause to you and your business needs. In making this difficult decision, paramount is the health, safety, and welfare of our attendees. We acknowledge that the increase in company-mandated travel restrictions, as well as growing concerns over exposure, have made it impossible to ensure the execution of a successful conference experience this winter.

At present, Upstream staff is revising the program, and we will provide an update as soon as possible.

Finally, we are asking the Hyatt Regency Dallas to cancel all reservations from the API group room block. You should confirm with the hotel that your reservation has been canceled and/or rebook if you will still come for other business. If you made your reservation outside the API group room block, you would need to contact the hotel directly. Please remember that cancelations must be received by the hotel at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to your expected arrival, and a cancellation number must be obtained, or the card will be charged for the first night’s room rate.

Please send any questions to [email protected].
