“API Working With ENTELEC
To Promote Telecommunications
In The Oil And Natural Gas Industry”
The Telecommunications Committee of the American Petroleum Institute (API) is proud to be working with ENTELEC (the Energy Telecommunications and Electrical Association) to promote telecommunications in the oil and natural gas industry.
ENTELEC is a user association focusing on communications and control technologies used by petroleum, natural gas, pipeline and electric utility companies. ENTELEC provides an educational platform for training its members, including technical presentations, equipment exhibits and networking opportunities during its annual Spring Conference & Expo. Technological advances in SCADA systems, networking, communications, automation, and leak detection are highlighted at each annual event.
Celebrating its 80th Anniversary, ENTELEC’s next conference will be held from April 9-11, 2008, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. General sessions, breakouts, round table discussions, expositions, and networking events will offer attendees the chance to experience first-hand what is happening in the energy industries and allow professionals to network and exchange ideas.
API will be exhibiting at the ENTELEC conference and presenting its video entitled, “API 101, An Introduction to Telecommunications in the Oil and Gas Industry.” Please visit API at booth # 342.
