Volunteer Involvement Program

In addition to making direct contributions, ExxonMobil encourages its employees, retirees and their families to contribute their time and money to the communities where ExxonMobil operates.

In the United States, participants who volunteer for worthwhile community projects of their choice, either individually or as a team, are eligible to participate in the Volunteer Involvement Program (VIP).  Although the Volunteer Involvement Program is designed to encourage volunteerism, rather than providing large sums of money, non-profit organizations are awarded $500 grants from ExxonMobil after participants complete 20 hours of volunteer service.

Similar Volunteer Involvement Programs are also available in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

In addition to these formal volunteer programs, ExxonMobil employees and their families volunteer many hours of their time responding to the needs of the communities where they live and work around the world.
