Safe Handling of Chemicals

ConocoPhillips is an active partner in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s high production volume chemical testing program. The purpose of the program is to provide information on potential health and environmental impacts of chemicals produced in large volumes in the United States, but for which impact data is not publicly available.

Through testing groups set up by the American Petroleum Institute and the American Chemistry Council, ConocoPhillips is sponsoring health and environmental effects testing on nearly 400 products and refinery intermediate streams.
