The American Petroleum Institute will host its 5th Climate Actions Conference on May 6 and 7, 2009. The conference will feature top policymakers from Capitol Hill, the Obama Administration, academia and the private sector to provide the latest legislative, regulatory and judicial intelligence on climate change policy.
The conference will provide a forum for policy-oriented discussions by a diverse group of speakers on federal legislative and regulatory climate change policies, judicial perspectives on climate policies and pending litigation, and state and regional climate policies and their implications for potential federal actions. Among the highlights will be a lively panel discussion on a series of policy issues debated by experts from government, academia, non-government organizations and the oil and natural gas industry.
