The conference is expected to host 300 offshore crane operators, management, and safety personnel. Keynote Speakers:
Commander Patrick W. Clark, Chief of the Vessel and Facility Operating Standards Division within the Office of Operating and Environmental Standards at Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, D.C. His responsibilities include the development of U.S. standards, regulations and guidance for inspected and uninspected commercial vessels, facilities, and offshore oil and gas platforms.
Regional Supervisor for Field Operations, Michael Saucier, Minerals Management Service (MMS), Gulf of Mexico Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Region, with the U.S. Department of the Interior in New Orleans, Louisiana. As Regional Supervisor, Mr. Saucier oversees a staff of 170 engineers, geoscientists, technicians, inspectors and administrators who are responsible for safe and environmentally responsible oil and gas operations throughout the Gulf of Mexico OCS Region.
