Please plan to join your colleagues for the third annual API/AOPL Control Room Management Forum in Houston, Texas and bring a Controller with you!

The focus of the first day will be on control room management issues: human factors and the Battelle study; fatigue and investigating fatigue factors in incident investigation; and recruiting and retaining Controllers.

The second day of the Forum is for Operators and Controllers to share information on regulatory compliance issues, shift change, MOC, roles and responsibilities, and training.

Due to considerable damage to the Hilton NASA Clear Lake Hotel the API/AOPL Control Room Forum has been relocated to the Hilton Houston Hobby Airport. The hotel is located at 8181 Airport Boulevard, Houston, TX. If you had a reservation at the Hilton Clear Lake please note that is has been cancelled. Anyone requiring a sleeping room please contact the Hilton Houston Hobby Airport at 713-645-3000 to make a reservation. Please mention the API Pipeline Control Room Workshop to receive the discounted rate of $159. The cut off date for making reservations is Tuesday, September 30, 2008
