The deadline for pre-registration is October 15, 2009. After this date, you may still register for the meeting on-site at the hotel.

Advance Your Standards
Your participation keeps API standards going strong, and we would like you to share your standards expertise with the next generation. API invites you to sponsor first-time attendees from your company complimentary at all API 2009 standards meetings.
Complimentary registration is limited to first-time attendees, who must be sponsored and accompanied by a prior API standards meeting participant from the same company. Pre-registration is required. Registration for sponsored attendees cannot be completed on-line. The sponsoring attendee must complete and fax in a registration form for him or herself and include information for the person being sponsored. All hotel and travel expenses are the responsibility of the participant/attendee.
Sponsorship/Exhibitor Application and Agreements
Sponsoring or exhibiting at standards meetings is a targeted, cost-effective avenue for connecting with customers that you might not reach otherwise. The deadline for returning Sponsor/Exhibitor Applications and Agreements is October 2, 2009. Sponsorship items requiring artwork should be returned by September 25, 2009.

Spouse/Guest Program
Breakfasts will be provided Monday and Tuesday mornings, 8:00 am - 10:00 am. In addition to breakfasts, other activities are being planned.
Monday – Day Trip to the Money Factory: U.S. currency is printed in only two places in the whole world. Washington, DC and Ft. Worth, TX. Yes, that ‘s right, Ft. Worth, TX! Participants will be treated to this educational tour opportunity during their visit to Dallas. Tour features include displays and exhibits showing the history of U.S. paper currency, the production process and its technology, an informative 15-minute film of the production process, a quarter-mile long elevated walkway tour overlooking the currency production floor, the Money Factory Gift Shop, and three live demonstration exhibits; a turn-of-the century spider press, a mutilated currency redemption desk, and an engraver’s bench.
Tuesday - Day Trip - Spa and Shopping: Participants will go to Southlake for shopping at Southlake Town Square and spa services at the Corinthian Wellness Spa (named best destination by D Magazine). Participants will be broken into three groups. While some shop, others will go to the spa and then switch activities so that everyone can be accommodated comfortably.

Hotel Information
Reservations may be made directly with the Hyatt Regency Dallas by calling 214-651-1234 no later than 5:00 pm, local time at the hotel, October 18, 2009. Please mention the American Petroleum Institute to receive the group rate of $189.00 single or $209 double occupancy, plus applicable tax. After October 18, 2009, hotel reservations will be accepted on a space available basis at the group rate for a limited time. The rate applies three days prior to and after the dates of the meeting.
