WASHINGTON – Please join us for API's second annual State of American Energy event. America's energy future is one of the top issues on the minds of voters during the upcoming election cycle as the nation looks for leadership to resolve the deficit crisis, high unemployment, and help get our economy back on track.

API President and CEO Jack Gerard will deliver a major address that will detail policy recommendations to candidates at the local, state, and national levels, and he will unveil a nation-wide advocacy campaign to be kicked off in January to help drive solutions to our nation's challenges during the 2012 election cycle.

Gerard will also host a news conference immediately following his address for credentialed members of the media that will include a question and answer period.
