The landscape of our changing work environment is facilitating the need to improve the way the industry approaches the management of quality.  The API Spec. Q1, 9th Edition Training Course is a three-day course that frames the management system requirements in a managerial and business prospective and will provide you with a working understanding of the 9th Edition requirements. 

Course Highlights:
You will be given insight as to the drivers behind Q1’s importance and its value in the Oil & Natural Gas Industry. Using practical examples and hands-on application, this course is designed to progressively give you introductory to advanced knowledge of Q1’s requirements and interpretations, which includes the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.

This course is ideal for both newcomers and those already familiar with working under Spec. Q1 requirements. About the Instructor
Mr. Ed Durante, the company president, is an engineering professional with 40 years of experience in project management, engineering, quality assurance, training, and auditing in the nuclear, petroleum, industrial construction and manufacturing industries. He has worked for over 30 years with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) Standardization Committees, serving as a member of the API Committee on Quality, Chairman of the API Subcommittee on Auditor Training and Qualification, Chairman of the joint API and ISO Workgroup responsible for developing API Q1 8th Edition/ISO TS 29001; member of the SC18 for 30 years; worked on development of API Q1 and Q2 since their inception; one of the most experienced API Lead Auditors since 1985. Mr. Durante has presented API Specification Q1 Training program on behalf of API worldwide for over 10 years. He is knowledgeable in a wide variety of API Upstream Standards.
