Now this is fun: Jack Gerard, API’s president and CEO, is on Instagram, providing an inside look at his work leading the country’s largest oil and natural gas trade association and his energy advocacy efforts – but also other stuff.
Such as his large, enthusiastic family …
His western roots as a native Idahoan …
And his love for scouting …

"Very proud of Leo, Nick, and Steven Cantos who reached the rank of Eagle Scout together. This was the first time blind triplets have done so in the @boyscoutsofamerica's 107-year history. The boys did so without receiving any special considerations. I've known them and their adoptive father Ollie, who is also blind, for years and was honored to celebrate their achievement last night. #boyscouts #boyscoutsofamerica"

Mark Green joined API after a career in newspaper journalism, including 16 years as national editorial writer for The Oklahoman in the paper’s Washington bureau. Previously, Mark was a reporter, copy editor and sports editor at an assortment of newspapers. He earned his journalism degree from the University of Oklahoma and master’s in journalism and public affairs from American University. He and his wife Pamela have two grown children and six grandchildren.
