Important officials such as U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, U.S. Senator David Perdue of Georgia, Governor Pat McCrory of North Carolina, U.S. Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, and U.S. Senator Mark Warner of Virginia are supporting offshore oil and natural gas development in the Atlantic.

Florida: Oil and natural gas development in the Atlantic could create almost 100,000 jobs and raise $20 billion for the state budget by 2035 with revenue sharing in place.

Georgia: Oil and natural gas development in the Atlantic could create more than 5,000 jobs and raise over $700 million for the state budget by 2035 with revenue sharing in place.

North Carolina: Oil and natural gas development in the Atlantic could create 55,000 jobs and raise nearly $4 billion for the state budget by 2035 with revenue sharing in place.

South Carolina: Oil and natural gas development in the Atlantic could create 35,000 jobs and raise over $3.7 billion for the state budget by 2035 with revenue sharing in place.

Virginia: Oil and natural gas development in the Atlantic could create 25,000 jobs and raise nearly $1.9 billion for the state budget by 2035 with revenue sharing in place.
