API hosts a series of instructor-led, virtual courses to provider learners with knowledge on how to conduct effective audits and how to lead an audit team. Audit Training

These courses incorporate practical examples and hands-on applications to progressively give the learner introductory to advanced knowledge of auditing.

Training is applicable to:

  • Personnel involved in the auditing of an organization’s management system
  • Professionals seeking auditor refresher training
  • Individuals wishing to learn how to audit and understand the audit process
  • Personnel involved in managing their organization’s audit program or in leading audits of their organization’s management system
  • Professionals seeking certification or continuing education to maintain their certification
  • Auditors looking to further enhance their auditing skills
  • Personnel responsible for assisting their organization to achieve conformity to API Spec Q1 or API Spec Q2

Fundamentals of Auditing

This multi-day course focuses on the principles of effectively auditing your quality management systems, including API Specification Q1 or API Specification Q2.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Define key auditing concepts, ethics, and standards used in the auditing process
  • Demonstrate how to develop an audit program
  • Understand how to conduct an effective audit
  • Execute post-audit activities

This course is accredited by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training. Learners meeting the requirements of the course will be awarded the following:

  • CEUs: 1.4
  • Certificate: A certificate of completion will be awarded to participants who complete the training.

Lead Auditing Training

The Lead Auditing Training is a multi-day course focuses on the principles of effectively auditing and leading an audit team of your quality management systems, including API Specification Q1 or API Specification Q2. This course includes the Fundamentals of Auditing course and you will be given additional information on leading an audit team as well as the additional auditing processes that are unique to the API program. 

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Define key auditing concepts, ethics, and standards used in the auditing process
  • Demonstrate how to develop an audit program
  • Understand how to conduct an effective audit
  • Execute post-audit activities
  • Illustrate how to lead an audit
  • Describe the responsibilities of the audit team leader

 

This course is accredited by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training. Participants meeting the requirements of the course will be awarded the following:

  • CEUs: 1.8
  • Certificate: A certificate of completion will be awarded to participants who successfully attend all days of the training
