WASHINGTON, February 15, 2024 – The American Petroleum Institute (API) released the following statement today from API Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy Officer Amanda Eversole calling on Congress to approve the Unlocking Our Domestic LNG Potential Act of 2024:

“U.S. LNG exports strengthen our economy, support jobs here at home and send a signal of American strength and stability throughout the world, yet the Biden administration’s misguided permit pause threatens to halt this progress. We thank Rep. Pfluger and House leadership for recognizing the clear benefits of U.S. LNG, and we urge the House of Representatives to stand up for American energy and pass this legislation immediately.”
